Privacy notice

This notice explains what we collect and why. In short: very little, and we never sell it.

Browsing the site

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

If you ask for builder quotes

When you fill in a “Get quotes” form we store the details you give us (name, email, phone if given, postcode and project details). With your consent, we pass them to up to three garden room builders who cover your area so they can contact you about quotes. We do this because you asked us to (your consent), and you can withdraw consent at any time.

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them. Builders who receive your details become responsible for how they use them.

If you email us

We use your email only to reply, and delete correspondence when it's no longer needed. Photos you send are only published with your permission.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@thecabinindex.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
